In recent times we’ve been getting more and more involved with specialist large format productions – anything from clients looking to jazz up their offices and suites to others producing product to sell on. This last week brought 2 such requests that we hope will be the start of something big…
New kids on the block Sportsrabilia have done what no one has ever managed before despite prolonged efforts – and that’s to become the official licensee for all Team England football memorabilia. With the task of creating a unique catalogue of prestigious pieces that would capture the imagination of the supporting public, Danny Schindler and his team sought the expertise of us at Printhouse. There have been bridges and hurdles aplenty to negotiate, but having thoroughly researched, sampled, amended, sampled, amended again (you get the gist) the first wave of products went live just yesterday…..and truly stunning they are. Fully litho printed backgrounds with foil blocking, all are hand framed in a brush metal effect wood with distinctive foiled deep blue frame mounts. We’ve also helped create a range of authenticity marks, from stickers to personalised certificates.

In addition our good friends at The O2 needed to update their array of prints in their own suite. With events planned all the way through to Xmas the window of delivery was precise to say the least!! Having been to The Arena to measure up (the replacements had to fit exactly where the old ones were) I received the dozen new pix – these were cropped, scaled, proofed and then printed the same day before being framed into custom produced high end metal mouldings and delivered for the maintenance team to put up in time for Tuesday’s event! Again a stunning result.

And as an alternate, we can also mount directly onto black edged 18mm thick MDF that gives a superb alternate to a framed piece.
