‘To the Queen… A Royal Drinkology’
Firstly I was contacted by Thomas from the British Monarchist Society who wanted the idea of his book designed and printed. He first went to a US publisher but they did not understand what he wanted! Then after calling PrintHouse and discussing his requirements I gladly took up the challenge. And a challenge it was too!

From the initial brief the size, pagination, colours and material were not confirmed and had to be discussed in depth to see what would work. I had to prepare a ‘dummy book’ in the material and size that I though would be suitable for this.
Thank you kindly for thinking ahead and having a sample made up in a heavier stock. I really appreciate the thought, at it shows me that you are the type of people I want to do business with! I like people who always think and make it easier to move forward on their own accord.
Once the material and size were confirmed, we were given the document and images to then make up the book. Our designer Alex then had to come up with a design to incorporate all the text, images and even create some of his own unique sketches to make this an outstanding book for the Jubilee celebrations. This took quite some time with there being quite a few late nights for him.
With the launch date set for the book last Thursday (24th May) we were finally left with less than a week to print, laminate, foil, PUR bind and deliver the job. We put on extra shifts to make sure that we delivered our promise to make the book happen.
And happen it did…
The team at PrintHouse is amazing! Professional, helpful and always taking the steps to further customer service so that there was never a question as to what should be the next step in regard to creating my book. Working with Rupesh and his team as a site unseen project was very easy and worry free as they put me at ease and made me very comfortable with them in whole.
