Design and print a notebook to get your company remembered

Moleskine notebooks remain all the rage, and we well know why as they both look and feel great. But like any luxury item it comes at a price…..that being the price! And when that multiplies significantly for any type of customised or personalised version; well for almost all but the most exclusive uses our clients are priced out.

So, with our design and manufacturing partners, we’ve done our best to find ways of creating a notebook that says ‘quality’ but one that’s both practical, customisable and, of course, affordable.

A nice neat A5 PUR bound book can be transformed by adding a fully personalised cover and with the option of having the internal pages carry your own unique message. Laminate and spot UV varnish the cover and it’ll both look and feel great, but really make it stand out from the crowd by adding an elastic, in one of a multitude of colours, that feeds from the back (where it is eyeleted in place) and sits over the front in ‘Moleskine’ style.

You can up that a notch by using a trendy uncoated cover, perhaps even one with a texture, and then adding a striking foil to ensure your logo really stands out. The example below was further enhanced by having the foredges ram punched to create rounded corners.

In trying to find further ways of developing the theme we’ve teamed up with a new manufacturer who’s brought a hard backed version to market. Now the (small) downside here is that to keep costs down the books come with standard lined pages, but branding the covers using a range of foils really does give you a stunning product that will take your message out there. And it’ll keep it out there too as give this to a client at a meeting, conference or trade show and they’ll see it as a gift they’ll want to use.

Finally, for those with budgets a little bigger, rival the real thing by doing more to the covers (in this case debossed), upgrading the elastic and even creating a special ‘button’ with your logo

Hopefully, food for thought for you – a couple of ways, each with a couple of options, for giving your clients the gift of a notebook to take away that will leave your good name at the tip of their fingers for a good while to come.

Give away a notebook to ensure your clients keep you in mind

There’s something wonderful about being given a notebook. It’s a personal possession that becomes all the more individual as you scribble meaningful notes and doddle idol pictures. By designing a notebook with your corporate logo on the front, you can connect with your client over a long period of time. The average notebook is used for at least six months and often becomes a book full of important notes, which then becomes a reference guide for years to come.
